Flat Back Earrings

Flat back earrings come in two parts and as the name suggests a flat back earring has a small flat flatback which sits against the back of the ear and the front part of the earrings screws into the hollow threaded post for a secure fasting

Because of their design, they the most comfortable style of earrings, especially to sleep in. More comfortable than hoop earrings or traditional butterfly studs as there is nothing poking uncomfortably against the ear (or nose). They are also a very versatile earring style and can be worn in upper and lower helix positions as well as a nose stud.

Flat back earrings or labret earrings can be worn almost anywhere on the ear. The most worn place for flat back earrings is the tragus piercing however we find these earrings to be great for lobe piercings, helix piercings, conch piercings and daith piercings. Their flat back design allows you to have both comfort and style in a sleek earring design make them a must have for your curated ear.

Our Flat backs are 18 Gauge or 1mm (the width of the post that goes through the piercing) which is pretty standard. Many piercers use a 20G needle so do check with your piercer what gauge earring is most suitable for your piercing.

Scream Pretty Flat Back earrings have a small screw thread that securely fastens into the back of the earring, which means unlike some other styles of flatbacks without a screw in thread, they will not fall out.
